Rain does not dampen the spirits ... of the Comparative Literature students graduating in 2019! Overall Comp Lit had 25 students (including 7 grad students) participate this year in the Languages Commencement, with the reception moved indoors to the main Dwinelle atrium. Summer 18 Comparative Literature ... student Chloe Chan has won the student prize in American Culturesfor her submission "Postapocalypse Now" after taking Caitlin Scholl's 60AC class of the same name. Prospective students turned out ... and their familes descended on the Berkeley campus for Cal Day. The largest group to attend a Comp Lit presentation in recent memory came to Dora Zhang's "All the Feels: Race, Literature and Emotion" presentation. Comp Lit undergrads Tadeo Ilarde and Annabel Jankovic are shown as they staff the Comp Lit table.
