Panel: New Novel Studies at Berkeley

The Consortium on the Novel will be hosting a panel, titled New Novel Studies at Berkeley... centered on recent faculty work on the novel. The panelists include Dorothy Hale (The Novel and the New Ethics), Ian Duncan (Human Forms: The Novel in the Age of Evolution), Nicholas Paige (Technologies of the Novel: Quantitative Data and the Evolution of Literary Systems), and Dora Zhang (Strange Likeness: Description and the Modernist Novel). The four faculty members will be joined by four graduate students—Pamela Weidman, Jesse Nyiri, Lukas Ovrom, and Gabrielle Elias—who will introduce the books and ask some questions.
